Vision 2020 Renovations Officially Begin 9/24 Click Here for More

The first phase of the Vision 2020 renovations was to remove the dying maple on the left of 9 fairway.  That old girl lasted a long time for us defending shots off the tee and approach shots.  It really highlighted the grand oak that was behind it and will end up being on the outside of the pool fence to the south.
Next was having our tree crew come out and trim up the row of low limbs behind the 9th green.  The new pool house sits just south of this group of trees.  The building will be 30x80 and will have men's and women's locker rooms as well as a beautiful kitchen for food service at the pool and at the turn.

This past Monday we scalped down the green bank grass all around 9 and sprayed it with round up to help us manage the topsoil once it's stripped off and stored for the new 9th green bank and surrounds.

On Monday the 24th we will be removing the green and green bank irrigation heads and capping the water line that goes to the old 8th green.  This is the green we will be expanding this fall and will be transplanting the putting surface from 9 to here.

Here is a picture from 1952 showing how big the 8th green was in the past.  We'll be putting on a temporary green located on the approach.
